I dont know of any in particular but for my graphics needs I just use Photoshop CS3. I pirated the copy off the internet lol, so I dont know how often you do that. Despite its glitz its not the best either. I see your point though. Large images will distort when reduced as well, and vice versa. I guess we can only do what we can do.
