It's normal dude, they're the same creators, they do that with most of the stuff they do...

Like in Tsubasa Chronicles I seen:

Sakura, Syaoran, Tomoyo, Touya and Yukito are characters from Card Captor Sakura.
Chii is from Chobits.
King Ashura is form RG Veda (CLAMP's first work).
Kurogane is from X.
I have no idea from where Fye is.
The dimensional witch Yuuko and Mokona are from xxxHolic.

etc...

They did an awesome job with that ptoject.
