Today brought some happy news.
Kyon is all right… but… now he is at my house. I guess I should explain.
Last night I could not sleep much so when it came time to go to School... I did not bother and I went to the Hospital with my mother instead. When I got to Kyon’s Room he was being lectured by a Nurse not to get out of bed as he was ordered.
Nurse: “Stay In bed!”
Kyon: “But I have to get to school.”
Nurse: “You’re supposed to stay in bed unless necessary. You’re not allowed to walk around for a couple days.”
Kyon: “But I’ll miss class”
Nurse: “Just do as you’re told”
My Laughter at this alerted them of our presence. I soon got Kyon to lay down with the promise of some sandwiches I made. My Mother stayed in the room when I went to the car to get them (I forgot them there). When I came back though Kyon was asleep. I sat beside his bed waiting for him to wake up but it seems like he was really tired. Soon the silence was broken when a Doctor came in the room.
Doctor: “Oh, are you the family?’
My Mother: “No, we’re just…”
Me: “I’m a friend of his”
Doctor: “Well it seems he is asleep for once. He has been causing trouble all morning I’ve heard. He is really determined to go to School I hear”
Me: “When will he allowed to get out of bed?”
Doctor: “He should stay in bed for 3 days but he has to do so at home. He will be allowed to walk around supervised on the third but he is encouraged to stay in bed.”
My Mother: “So he has to go home today?”
Doctor: “Yes, when his parents arrive he will be discharged.”
Later Kyon’s father arrived but he did not seem like he was very comfortable. He told us that he could be around Kyon much (To stop Kyon from getting out of bed) since he had to work and that he could not leave him at his Mothers house since she is not physically able to do so. So this is where my mother chipped in that our house was close to the hospital and that she did not mind having him. So one thing led to another and the discharge papers were made with the notes saying he was discharged to my house.
Waking Kyon up to get him to my house was fun
Me: “Kyon-kun. Kyon-kun, Kyon-Kun. Wake up”
Kyon: “What? Am I allowed to go to school yet? Or do I have to go home now?”
Me: “Well… Your not going home. You’re going to my house.”
Kyon: “Wha? Why?”
Me: “It’s Because my house is close to the Hospital and it seems that because you will not stay in bed your parents will not be able to look after you.”
Kyon: “Can I eat first?”
Me: “I have those sandwiches; you can eat them in the car.”
Kyon: “Can I have some now?”
Me: “Later”
Just then a nurse came in with a wheel chair for Kyon that he gracefully declined with a "I'd rather walk" So I had to hold his hand so the nurse would let him do so.
Though, when we were waiting in the car for my mother to return from the hospital (she forgot something) Kyon fell asleep with his neck in an awkward position. So he would not strain his neck I put his head on my shoulder.
When we were driving home:
My Mother: “My don’t you look happy”
Me: “Better than him straining his neck”
My Mother: “I could swear it’s something else”
Me: “Stop or you’ll wake him up”
My Mother: “Just saying~”
Me: “Quit teasing me!”
That woke Kyon up but we were nearly home then so it did not really matter. When we got home we put Kyon in my room since we do not have a spare room. He went right to sleep when I called Go to tell him where Kyon was only to have Ichi scream into the phone yelling at me when Go told everyone.
Soon Shichi came with Go, Shi, and a haughty Ichi in tow. Shichi Brought Kyon’s Things that were left at school yesterday while Shi and Ichi went to my room to see Kyon. When In my room Ichi keep on looking around my room as if to see if I had all the materials needed. Then, after she calmed down we brought in a couple chairs and we just sat around the bed. After a while would on whisper “See My Pantsu?” and what not in his ear so she could harass him in his dreams as well. Every time she did this I kept on trying to quietly tell her to stop that. Kyon eventually woke up again before it was time for the four to leave back to school. He said hello and all that but I made Ichi leave when she went to her normal teasing routine.
Ichi: “But I want to stay and Help my Kyon-kun feel better!”
Me: “He is not yours! And you can’t anyway, you have to go back to class.”
Ichi: “I’ll Just come after class then!”
And she did but she came alone after school, Kyon was asleep again by then. But she went to my room anyway. To prevent a some sort of awkwardness I waited outside my open bedroom door. The thing is that Ichi did not do anything. All she did was doing was sitting by the bed every time I peered in (Glad she was on the side that made her face away from the door). I think she may have been silently talking to him having a one way conversation but it was not very loud. I did hear “You’re a Lucky one” said once so I guess it was all nice things to be said.
Ichi got up and left for home after a few minutes of her own accord and was picked up by her waiting parents.
Well Kyon is right behind me still asleep so I guess he really is tired as he slept most of the day. I wonder if he got much sleep last night?
Anyway, I’m tired too so I guess I will roll out my sleeping bag and get ready for bed.
