I was watching Kill Bill 2 and this guy is talking in Cantonese, right?
All of a sudden I get a call from someone. I pause the movie, pick up the phone and this guy is talking to me on the phone, but I have no idea what he is saying :/ So I think to myself it's my friend, playing a trick on me, so he keeps talking here and then and it sounds like he's speaking like the guy in the movie (namely Cantonese). So I say "hello?" a couple of times and he says something which sounds like gibberish to my ears. Eventually he hangs up...
So I'm confused and wondering what the hell's going on and why my friend hung up (still thinking it's a joke).
I look at the Caller ID and see it's from a foreign country. So I look it up and it turns out he was calling from Macau...and guess what their motherlanguage is in Macau? Cantonese...is that just spooky or what?
I swear it's true and it just happened O_O
