Sounds quite interesting thanks. I've already come across Romeo X Juliet. I wonder what other Shakespeare novels will be animated.

Shakespeare novels are great novels to animate. something like Lord of The rings is also a good book to animate since everything is possible in anime

Haha, yeah. I'd like to see Hamlet as well.

I think the Bard only works on stage. Whenever folks put his works on the big screen, they get the urge to be "creative" Creative on a work that's already good the way it is. Course that only seems to happen in American movie productions. Kurosawa did good work with Shakespeare when he made Ran, and Throne of Blood. So maybe the Japanese anime producers will follow Kurosawa's lead.
