Now you're talking about, which system has a better flow of exchange of info. And in that case the Japanese beat all hands down. Copyright laws, and ego battles ruin tons of American media exchange projects, but the Japanese seem to rarely run into the problem.

Not just money, but hubris and ego. It's frustrating to watch some actor get the big head and say how much he hates a series, and how it's beneath him to do another sequel(ex: Alec Guiness, Star Wars).

well, so far, i believe anime is much more mature, even those shojo and shounen series. It's a bit more philosophical and delves more into their culture, but still establishes a premonition towards a fantasy world. As for cartoons, i can't see something that is so repulsive except for a few series like the simpsons, or from my younger days, rugrats, tom and jerry, and any other good cartoon series because they had a more in-depth plot though not the at the as anime. And for me, i would be ready to hurt anybody who calls anime a cartoon because there are not cartoons, just something that was develop from cartoons. hm, i can't see myself with anime in my life, lol,

Anime rulez Manga rulez Comics rule, but cartoons are children stuff. Yeah

And for comics only Marvel, DC and such firms

Obviously , cartoon is commonly for children and family to spend time , they are more educating and funny , while anime is more exciting and nice as it is more suitable for teenager ....some of them contain facts that are related with science and the real world ... so , a teenager can understand more about the world ....... I like anime because I ca n learn more thing about the world and enjoy myself in the story like ouran high school host club , slam dunk , and hikaru no go ....
