Well I got most of it as I did not repeat the whole episode but some scenes I did not quite understand or just missed cus something drew my attention elsewhere, and I always keep my head clear until an episode has finished, then I think about it.
Well now i'm really in for a happy happy anime...
I can always watch it all over again another time, maybe i'll have different thoughts with it.

You sure will. I have watched only End of evangelion and one episode(don't know which) but now, I'm going to watch it all.

I've seen Neon Genesis Evangelion a few times and I can agree with this. Also, if you listen to the significance of what the character Ritsuko says in her comments are more (to quote the ADR director Matt Greenfield) "Evil".

Though I am surprised that it turned people for such a loop as it does. I guess I just think of things that other people don't think about.
I've actually started to watch it again but I'm not going to marathon it this time.

That is the point. At first one is supposed to think that Evangelion is just another Mecha anime but then WHAM! you are pulled into a whole different thing than you initially imagined. It takes you for a trip that makes some people reanalyze their position on life. Well that is my impression of what other people looked like after they watched all of it. For me it's just an anime that uses Freudian jargon and psychoanalytical techniques with the addition of allusions to biology and religion in an attempt to play a mind game with the viewer so they (the viewer) may "go for a loop" and have their own reflection upon their selfs. Because people are so affected by it is why it's one of my favourite anime series and not because it made me have an pseudo-epiphany (it didn't).
My, can't I chanter? I guess this is a reason why I chose to Make Neon Genesis Evangelion a part of my thesis for English class.

Have you ever watched Rahexphon which tried to be a EVA clone but failed, that aside it is quite a good series but nothing on the level of EVA

Hah, and to think my vacation hasn't even started yet. I only got free from school till 30th of June which I get my diploma THEN I'm on my summer holidays, and till my next school semester starts.... well I'm totally free to do whatever I want...

I have alooooooot of anime's I want to see, and some to see again such as evangelion

Mhmm...i've watched Rahxephon and NGE but i hate it to hear so many people saying, RX is just another clone of NGE.
For me, they share same similaritys, cause RX is influenced by NGE. :p

Well well, NGE was confusing for me two watch for the 1st time, had to rewatch it 2 times again, till i understand almost everything of the anime and the surroundings.
I think, the psychological aspects of NGE is an obstacle for many people, but well, if you understand it, it's an amazing anime.
Later, with D&R, the End and Revival, i've got to rewatch it again

Don't know, which "End" is the best, cause they're all good in their way.
Geez, i've got the urge to watch NGE again

i've seen the series and the movies a lot. i've even seen the new evangelion movie you are not alone. i liked that movie too. course the new movie is for ppl who have either seen evangelion or never seen evangelion and wonder what it is. they change some things around but it's still a good movie. can't wait for the next one.
