I stole this question from another's blog and was so interested in it I decided to post it here.

What if the majority of anime looked like Tousen Kaname of the Bleach series would that be okay? Yes or No?


This is basically a question asking would it be okay if most anime looked more like the Afro Samurai rather then it currently does. Basically the hair would not change just the actual pigment of the characters. I wonder also would people still be interested in anime if the pigment fit the traditional Asian?

It really is an exercise in thought. To look at things in a different light. Seeing from another perspective is powerful so that is why I stole the question from another blog. I thought it was thought provoking and I had never seen it posted before. To ask questions that have already been asked is a waste don't you think? And not to be rude but you really did not answer the question that was asked but rather made up your own question similar in form to, "What do you think about Tousen Kaname? Is he so cool every anime should look like him or is he so lame none should ever look like this looser?" However, that is not the question I asked so in this instance there seems to be need for more thought provoking questions.

Yeah if a question is already asked then creating a new thread is pointless
but I was asking if this is was a game or not coz if it is a game type of question{people ask a question, the other answers and then asks the same type of question with a different character, to9 which some one else answers and asks his question....) then it would have to be moved under the Forum Games (Bacon & Eggs) area

The question had little to do with an individual character. The question was more sea changing then that. If you had a social conscious section then it would have better been put in that area. But people are usually content to not ask the question why so I can see why this question is so rare.

So you are talking about character Design?
or if the graphic design of the whole anime for other animes was similar to that of Bleach?

It would be self defeating to answer my own question, but since I stole the question from another blog I guess I can do no more wrong to also steal one of the answers from that blog as well. So here is how one guy answered that same question. As you will see, you did not actually answer the question as this poster will make evidently clear by his or her answer.

People give all those fluffy avoidance answers but the low down dirty is people would flip their wig if that started happening. Well I haven't watched Afro Samurai but from what I'm getting is that they are talking bout the Color or character design...
Anyways if it is just Character Design Vs the back drop .. meaning if you insert the type of coloring of the type of characters from Bleach into Ergo Proxy or Gilgamesh then that would look totally bizarre ... and in the same context, if the Characters of those animes were inserted in Bleach or Naruto colored Animes then that woul equally seem Alien
So every anime needs to have its own type of Design regarding its theme...

Yes you could make the whole Bleach anime into the less-colorful type of animes or Dark Themed colors, but then that would give it a totally different appeal than its current stucture

Well if that doesn't answer the Question then I'm sorry, I just might not have got the full meaning of the Question asked

At the risk of sounding insulting I apologize ahead of time. But that guys answer actually gives crystal clear definition to the question. I not being so smart will try against all odds to add definition where that well posed answer could not.

Think of it like this. What if all anime characters had the same skin pigment as the Afro Samurai? The hair, cloths, and facial features would stay the same but they would have a more dark brown skin tone versus the pale tones they usually have now. Would you care either way? Keep in mind people are usually adverse to change. But at the same time I have heard that anime do not have a color and really the color of the anime is not important. So in that vein if the anime were more brown in color would it matter?
