I would have to choose the crescent moon door.
I believe the crescent moon means a new beginning rather than darkness.

And i totally agree with this sounding like its part of SAW.

I'll pick crescent moon because it's gonna make me closer to death, many times I'm sure that it's gonna be alright if we dare to face near-death experience. plus we get stronger by it.

and because
-sun is only gonna make me closer to freedom, not really a freedom, and it's too obvious to choose this. something too bright is harder too see than something too dark.
-stars would postpone my death, it's seems optimistic and depressing at the same time. optimistic because "hey, you're not gonna be dead right away" depressing because "later you will be"!!!
-roses will postpone my freedom. this is a good one, I'm sure if I pick this I would be free "someday". actually at first I'm gonna pick this one, but since I like a challenge the winner goes to door number 2.

I also choose the crescent moon. And not just because I love names like Luna and Yue but because the moon symbolizes night or darkness making it easier to find the light of freedom

I wouldn't pick the sun because that would be too obvious, sunlight being outside and outside being freedom. I believe that stars would "guide" me to another challenge, postponing both my freedom and death. So I was left with moon and roses, so, on a whim, I picked roses.

And roses can be very painful, but at the same time soothing

The logic up until the choice is too flawed, in my opinion, so I didn't answer.
