Yes, it is.
I played it, 'cause my friend recommended it to me. It was pure awesomeness! I'll never forget GLaDOS and the companion cube.

Yes I played it and I admit that it's a fine piece ....

unlike ep2...that really pissed me off....
because it was too short and there wasn't any innovative stuff in it...

Havent played ep2 (no hl games whatsoever...)
I thought Portal was too short as well, so I've been downloading customs maps from the web.

Time for an upgrade then?
First time I tried starting up Portal my comp switched off...(of its own...without giving me the blue screen of death).
So I downloaded the latest drivers for my gfx card and now it works perfectly.

It doesn't have very high requirements as I remember correctly....
