How to convert Mkv file into Avi or the other formats ? - FTP-Anime Forums

I tried to convert Howl's Moving Castle ( H264.Dts) from KAA into avi with too many software , but the resualt was same .

Fiarst i tried
Virtual dubsub , Directvobsub , and software couldnt get through or handle H264
after that i tried ALLToavi GUI which is the best software to convert all OGM and MKv ,
I failed again

KAA seem to come up with craziest combination codecs : Mkv with AAC audio , H264 Video ~

and one subtitle..... any suggestion , BTW i am usig K-LIte mega codec pack that is already installed on my system

EDIT : IF yu know a web site for dl this MOvie , your help will be appreciated ;)

This is the last resault with ALLToavi GUI

Hmmm...weird...it should work if you ask me. Seems you've got all the right codecs and progs.

But why would you want to convert it to .avi anyway? The quality's already lost...

If you really need the .avi file I could try to look around and find it for you.

I really appreciate your help ., but i already found another MKV without H264 .
