So here I am going to post all my Stories that I've ever written since childhood..............Here Goes...........
The Second Story I wrote at the age of 9

LET THE PARTY BEGIN
The Maxius Saga

I was just an ordinary teenager like all the kids in my class. But one evening something strange happened, something that no one could have imagined, something that no one was ready for. But it hit us all, hard on our faces. I am talking about my family and myself.

It so happened that in the Year 2000, on 19th of the second month of the calendar, something uncanny happened. On that specific date I turned eleven years old. But that is nothing uncanny. What is strange is that from that day onwards some unexplainable events started to happen with and around me.
The first strange thing that happened was that when I awoke, I simply couldn’t explain why the sun had disappeared and night had laid its dark cloak on our humble earth.
I checked the time on my wristwatch and to my surprise it was 8:47 in the morning but the time didn’t match with the scenery portrayed outside at all. I leaned out side through my bedroom window to observe closely, but all I saw was darkness staring at me in the face.
So I switched on the digital light of my watch and checked the time again: 8:49AM. I was totally alarmed. I looked out of the window and could only see dim lights shining from far away shopping malls. I poked my head out of the now ajar window and tried to look closely towards the sky in search of even a glimpse of the sun but to no avail. I found nothing but distant stars twinkling away beside their far-off comrades in the sky.
I quickly strode to my closet and without warning a big skeleton jumped at me.
“Yikes!!” I jumped back and quickly braced myself so as not to fall over my bed.
The skeleton was just a dummy; I had placed it in there so as to scare off any person who tried to peek into my closet. But unfortunately I had forgotten about my booby trap and so became a victim to my own device.
Due to my concentration averted towards the darkness I had completely forgotten the dummy skeleton that was by now illuminated by a faint green luminous aura that made it look ghastly in this darkness. I quickly recovered from my fright and pushed backed the skeleton into my closet.
I then took out my favorite pair of jeans and shirt and then wore my very handy Van-Helsing type overcoat. I got my ultra-white flashlight, (but it had a tinge of blue in it). I switched the light on and instantly a strong beam of light-blue light lit from the torch’s bulb illuminating my bedroom.
I navigated my self to the light switch of my room with the help of the flashlight. I reached the switch and switched it on but nothing happened I tried all the switches one-by-one but nothing seemed to be working. I then used my torch and headed towards the bedroom door. I touched the knob and twisted it open.

Suddenly, as the door opened, my nostrils were instantly filled with the smell of, strangely but true, blood! Yes, stale blood! I couldn’t take it any more. I took out my handkerchief from my shirt’s front pocket and held it to my nose.
I urged my self to locate the source of the smell but it was coming from all around me. I ran to the nearest door to my right and flung the door of the room of my two elder brothers open.
What I saw made me feel like vomiting right over there. Their beds were drenched in blood. Their once clean white bed sheets had now turned into a deep crimson red. As I looked around, the whole room was spattered with blood. The tablecloths were dripping with blood…the curtains had huge blots of blood on them. The blood had even penetrated the carpet and sunk to the wooden floors beneath. The whole scene was simply gross.
I couldn’t take it any longer; I started to turn my self away from the room when suddenly something from the corner of my eyes caught my attention.
I cautiously went closer to that thing that was lying on the floor. I was now standing in front of that object but a blood stained cloth covered it. I crept down and pulled away the cloth and gasped,
“Oh my God!! This is terrible! Who could have done such a thing? No one but a mad person! No, this can’t have been done by a person but by a monster. Oh God!! Nooo!!”
What I saw was a sliced open body of my two brothers…their insides taken out…fingers and body joints like the arms, legs, head sliced. And then I saw something moving inside their bodies. I flashed my light inside them and to my horror I saw two snakes in each, slithering inside the hollow bodies of my brothers. I jumped to my feet and clutched my heart tightly. What was going on here? What had I done so that I had to go through this horrible fate that I couldn’t control--like I could in my dreams.
I stormed out of the ghastly room and ran into the opposite room. The room was of my baby sister. The nursery was the same: ghastly, like my brother’s! As I advanced to my sister’s cot I saw the same thing. I shone my light on her brutally sliced body and saw the two same species of snake slithering in her body. I covered her body with the extra clean blanket that was in the closet near her cot.
“Who could be so monstrous as to do such a devilish act?” , I muttered to my self.
I rushed out of the nursery and was walking in the corridor when I heard some voices coming from the end of the corridor. I ran towards the noise.
As I approached the end of the corridor I could distinguish the voices that were coming from my parent’s room.

“BEGONE, SON OF THE DEVIL!!” , It was my father shouting.
But then I heard another voice, a voice that wasn’t human, a voice so chilly that it can make the hair on anyone’s neck, stand.
“I will, after my feast, Haa Ha Haw,” said that uncanny voice.
“What do you mean?” asked my father.
“Haa Ha Haw, Don’t you know yet, why I’m here?”
But before my father could reply, the creature spoke again and a chill went through my spine as it spoke.
“Do you remember Solomon?”
“Who the hell was Solomon?” I wondered.
“I remember Solomon, but what do you want from him? He is dead. Yes, my great, great grandfather died after he defeated you, Narrogath,” my father said.
So Solomon was my Great, Great, Great Grandfather and this Narrogath is the one responsible for the death of my family. Suddenly I had a strange urge to storm into the room and kill the murderer; but just as I touched the doorknob, Narrogath spoke again.
“I might have been defeated but now I return in full power to finish what I started, Haa Ha Haw” He laughed like a maniac, but more like an Un-Dead…his voice vibrating and echoing everywhere.
“What do you mean? Solomon is dead, so what do you want from us? We are not what he was,” said my dad.
This was getting all too confusing for me. I turned the knob as slow as I could…the door opened slightly without any noise. I could hear more clearly now. I held the door open slightly; it wasn’t visible that the door was open.
“Haa Ha Haw, I’m surprised you still haven’t guessed,“ sneered Narrogath.
I peeped through the little opening from the door. I could clearly see what was going on. There was blood everywhere, like in the rest of the rooms; but there was some thing different in my parent’s room. As I looked around I could see that there were snakes all over the place, but most of all were around…I couldn’t believe what I saw…the murderer that was standing in front of my injured father was really a creature from Hell, …my father was standing in front of his bed…my mother slain…the creature form Hell standing at the foot of the bed and was facing my father…snakes were slithering all around its legs and some were gnawing away the room furniture…two snakes were looking out of my mothers body. I then looked at my father…he was severely wounded and he was bleeding heavily from many places…gashes on his face and arms…but then I saw that my father was armed…he had a sword, in his right hand and was on his guard although in much pain; Whereas, Narrogath was looking as if he had just entered and showed no signs of a battle.
My father spoke again, “Guessed what?”
Narrogath started to laugh again, “Very good. So you tell me that you never knew all this time, why I was here? Why I had come back and killed your family?
”No. I don’t know, so may you tell me, now?”
“Haa Ha Haw. Yes, I will enlighten you with what I know. Haa Ha Haw…Solomon was a wizard…”
“I already know that,” my father interrupted.
“Yes, but did you know that your son, Maxius is one too, and he was going to be just like Solomon, powerful and intelligent and he could have defeated me if given the chance?” said Narrogath.
“What the heck’s going on here?” I said to my self. “I’m a wizard!” I thought for a few seconds, and then I said to myself, “Impossible!” And that’s exactly what my father said:
“My son Maxius, a wizard? That’s impossible, outrageous. There have been no wizards in our family since Solomon died and Maxius being a wizard, who the hell told you?
” Narrogath laughed again, ", Haa Ha Haw but as you see, my Demons have already finished him off and after I kill you, I will have his wizard guts for desert, Haa Ha Haw. You need not worry if he was or not, because its over for your family; the one and true heir of Solomon slain and soon going to become my desert, Haa Ha Haw”

This creature was surely a maniac. I thought to myself.
“Nooo!! Never! My son can’t die and you will be banished for ever!!”
And my father raised his sword and lunged it at Narrogath. Narrogath laughed and he swished his cape and disappeared into thin air but then suddenly reappeared behind my father and with a strong force gave my dad a fatal blow with his clawed hands on my fathers head. My dad flew the whole length of the room and slammed into the wall and slid down it making a line of blood as his head slid down.
“Haa Ha Haw, and now I’ll get my desert. Haa Ha Haw!”
I was electrified to the spot but then an explosion erupted inside me and my spirits were suddenly raised. I stormed into the room.
“AND THAT’S ONE DESERT YOUR’E GONNA MISS!!” I yelled as I came in.
Narrogath whirled around as he heard me. And that was the first time I saw what he really looked like, up-close-and-personal. He looked about thirty or thirty-five years with a gaunt, reptilian face…lots of small, sharp teeth…his skin was dry and scaled like a Komodo Dragon and his cape was long, collar-upped and made of pure silk…it was black from the back and the inside was shiny red. I could see him clearly because my parents room was always lit up with candles in the night.
“What are you doing here? You were supposed to be dead!”
“Maxius. My-son-you-are-alive,” gasped my father.
He was alive but badly hurt and I knew he was going to die, his speech was also coming out in gasps and was an effort to make which was draining him off of all energy.
“D-A-A-A-D!!” I shouted
. “Maxius, here-take-this” and he threw the sword towards me.
The sword flew to me and I raised my hand and as soon the sword reached me I grabbed it from the hilt. But the moment I grabbed it, I felt the sword suddenly start to vibrate in my hands and then it started to glow. And it glowed with an unnatural Sky-Blue aura and then suddenly I felt an uncanny sensation rising inside me…I couldn’t take it any more and when I thought that I was going to die, suddenly an aura burst around me, a Cobalt-Blue Aura and it glowed ever so strongly. My hands started to move automatically, my right hand in which I held the sword rose and I stood pointing it at Narrogath.
Narrogath had a frightened expression on himself.
“The Heir of Solomon” it said
“But this cant be true. You should have been dead,” he continued.
“You BET I am!!” I shouted at his face
And then by instinct I somersaulted and slashed the sword into his arm. Narrogath screamed and leapt backwards. I looked at him and I saw that his arm had been completely sliced. He was one arm less. Then I saw that the arm, which had fallen to the ground, start to disintegrate into multiple small snakes. He then looked at his shoulder and touched it with his talon and suddenly I saw something wriggling over there.

He looked at it and said “ GROW…grow”.
And then I saw that few thick long snakes emerging from his shoulder and start to take shape of his former arm and when they were complete, a dry scaled skin came over them and the arm looked like it was his original and had played no part in the battle.
“Haa Ha Haw, you tried to kill me but you failed as I now have an ability to regenerate my self. In other words I’m indestructible. Haa Ha Haw”
I looked aghast. But then I raised the sword and ran at him this time aiming for his neck,
“Never! DIE!! SON OF THE DEVIL!” , I yelled and stormed straight towards it.
But at that instant when I was close to striking him, he suddenly jumped high in the air and landed way away from my reach and so I hacked into thin air.
“Haa Ha Haw. You missed…” he mocked.
“Well of course I would, that is if you keep running away from me. Like a chicken.” If he can mock so can I.
“Grrr…Mark my words, Rider…Solomon tried to defeat me...and he died trying, if you don’t give up now and give your self to me, then I must say…you’ll meet the same sticky death by chasing me, just like Solomon. Haa Ha Haw.”
“What the hell are you talking about? I am going to kick your butt right here and give you a free ticket to your passage to Hell.”
“Haa Ha Haw. We will meet again, Maxius Rider.” And with that he swished his cape around his body, like a vampire does in movies, and with a small poof he vanished.
“Maxius, My son-come here”
I looked around and saw my dad; he was lying beside the wall. I could see that he had lost plenty of blood.
“D-A-A-D!!” I ran towards my father’s crumpled body. “Dad. You are hurt, I’ll call the ambulance…”
I was now sitting beside my father.
“No. It’s too late…Maxius, there are a few things I’ve got to tell you.”
The strain on his face muscles was clearly telling me that it was painful for him to talk.
“Hush dad, don’t talk. I’ll call 911 and the doctors will be here any minute,” I pleaded.
“Look here, Maxius, my boy…the first thing is that your great, great, great grand father was a wizard…”
“I heard that part dad, now if you will just let me dial we can talk all night in the hospital,” I interrupted him.
“In a minute I would be dead…my wounds are fatal and cannot be healed by our ordinary methods…look here my son…you have become a wizard, just like Solomon and you have to walk in his foot-steps…”
“But dad I can’t be a wizard, it is impossible…there have been no wizards for generations, like you said…so how could I be?” I interrupted him again.
“Yes it is strange but you cannot deny the evidence you just witnessed”
“What evidence dad? What are you talking about?“ I asked him a bit confused now.
“The aura…my son the aura…the aura on the sword and the aura that shone ever so brightly around you…the aura my son the aura…you are going to be a powerful wizard just like Solomon…” suddenly he coughed and blood sprayed out of his mouth.

“D-A-A-D!! You are bleeding…”
he cut me short, *COUGH-COUGH* “Maxius I don’t have much time to live *COUGH-COUGH* so listen to me carefully.” He coughed some more and more blood was sprayed, reddening my shirt.
“Here, take my wallet…in here you will find the addresses of my big sister and little sister’s mansions…there is some money in here, too. Take them and use them for your transport...”
Suddenly a loud bang erupted behind me…instantly the sword, which was lying beside me, started glowing and I picked it up. I got up swirling it and suddenly I hacked into thin air…I didn’t know what made me do it but there was a Sky-Blue aura around me that I didn’t notice. Suddenly a scream erupted in front of me and I hacked again…more screams and then suddenly Narrogath appeared a bit out of my reach but I could see that he was bleeding snakes and his left hand was no more in contact with his arm and he had a huge gash on his right cheek.
“You will pay for this Rider…” Narrogath said through gritted teeth.
“Tough luck sneak, because I got money only for my transportation Haa ha Haw.”
Narrogath growled and then pointed his palm at my dad and I witnessed the middle of his left palm which had re-grown itself, start to open and before I knew it, a snake shot out from it and flew like a dagger and stabbed my dad in his throat.
Narrogath started to laugh and then he pointed to his feet and instantly smoke arose from under him, which engulfed him and then he was gone, for now.
My dad instantly started to choke and I wheeled around and grabbed the snake from its tail and yanked it out. My father coughed and blood sprayed out and then I saw that some green ooze was oozing out from where the snake had bitten him. I presumed that it was some kind of poison.

“Maxius, take the address to my little sister, Sophia and stay at her mansion…she knows about Narrogath and she will do every thing in her power to protect you…I can’t stay any longer. Go now. Hurry and remember…,” my father coughed and more of the green ooze came out, “remember, Maxius, always be sharp and expect the unexpected.” He gasped for air.
“D-A-A-D!! Stay with me dad nothing’s going to happen to you, don’t leave me dad.”
He gasped some more and brought his hand to my cheek. I grabbed it and pressed it on my cheek. He gasped some more and the green ooze was coming out in great amounts now.
“Dad…please don’t leave me, have faith Dad. Isn’t that what you used to say to my brothers when they were in some kind of distress? What happened to your faith Dad? Please don’t leave me.”

Tears were rolling out of my eyes now and so were from his. Father caressed my cheek and I held his hand more tightly.
“May God protect those who are innocent and loyal to him.”
He coughed and gasped for some air…he looked at me with those beautiful green eyes and I could see the love he had for me swirling in there.
“Dad…remember all those good days we had together…” I was choking now as I tried to fight back my tears.
My father looked at me and said nothing but smiled.
“Remember that day when we were in aunt Tasha's garden…and we were lying between those flowers and a cool breeze swept over us and we thought, if this was what heaven was like.”
He coughed and smiled at me.
“Dad, try to remember that garden…those flowers and the beautiful aroma…that cool breeze that swept over us…think of me lying with you…hugging you…”
My father was still looking at me with a smile on his face and then I had a vague feeling in my mind that my father was already in a more beautiful garden with all his family.
I lifted his wrist and checked for a pulse…there was none. Tears started to roll from my eyes but I fought them back. I lifted my hand and closed my father’s eyes. Then before I could stop it, tears started to stream in tremendous amounts from my eyes, they kept rolling and tumbling over each other.
I cried and I cried till my eyes were dry. I got up, angry with my self for not being able to stop the tears. What was meant to happen happened and no matter how much I cry I would not suddenly wake up from my nightmare, as this was the reality. I must be strong to carry on and if I cry like a baby I would never succeed in achieving any of my goals or even take a single step forward in life.
As I got up, I spotted my dad’s wallet lying beside him. I picked it up and flicked it open. The first thing that I saw was a family-photograph in which were also my two aunts standing on either side of my father. I then checked the money section and found $1,550. I also spotted his credit card and also a small diary, which I took out. It was full of numbers and addresses of my dad’s colleagues and friends. I scrolled my eyes down to the letter “S” and there I found the name Sophia. I memorized the address, closed the wallet and put it in my back pocket.
I took a last look at my parents and the room and as I was going to leave I remembered the sword. I lifted the sword and held it in my hands. I examined it closely for the first time. The blade was razor sharp and not at all rusted from anywhere. The hilt was magnificent. It was encrusted with gemstones and it also had a huge sapphire in the middle of the hilt. There were small gemstones and precious rocks all around the big sapphire. There was a medium sized emerald in the shape of a triangle at the brim of the hilt. I slightly stroked the emerald and suddenly the sword started to vibrate in my hands. I tapped the emerald and instantly the vibration ceased. I couldn’t leave the sword there so I looked for its scabbard but I couldn’t find it. After some seconds, my back started to itch and so I took the sword and brought it near my back, I was going to scratch when suddenly the sword, like a magnet slipped from my hands and got attached to my back. I was going to try to remove it but stopped when I looked into the mirror. In the mirror I saw another mirror, which was behind me and in that mirror I saw that a scabbard was forming on top of the sword and within seconds it looked like as if I was wearing a scabbard on my back and a sword kept in it. I was examining the scabbard when suddenly it started to disappear, right in front of my eyes. I moved my hand to my back where I last saw the hilt of the sword. I moved my hand a bit further and to my surprise it bumped into an invisible hilt. I then knew that the sword and the scabbard had become invisible. Well, I thanked God because I had at last found where the scabbard for the sword was…it was on my back…or the sword when kept on the back of a person automatically makes a scabbard for itself. All this looked as if the evidence was trying to show or tell me that I was a wizard and I couldn’t disagree with the fact now. I took a quick glance at the room once more and then walked out of it.

The first thing I noticed that was different was that light was softly gleaming through the high windows. I ran to my room and entered it. I walked to my bedroom window and looked out of it. The sun was peeping out from the shadow of the earth. The mystery behind the total darkness was that there had been a total solar eclipse while tragedy struck its deadly blow upon my family. And now the eclipse was finishing and the sun was once again shining its rays at the world below and brightening up everything, an omen for a new beginning.
Somewhere from the distant grounds I heard a familiar cackle that I linked to an insane creature I had met previously but it soon died down as the eclipse faded.

Part~1

I went to my bedside table took out my passport and visa-card. I looked for my Swiss-army knife…found it and pocketed it in my coat.
I then looked for any thing I needed like my best joggers, some warm clothes and my pocket money. I opened my closet carefully not upsetting the strings of the Skeleton-in-the-closet and took down my bag. I packed all my personal belongings like a photo-album and some other stuff in the bag and then I ventured into the kitchen. Opened the fridge and took out some cold drinks and chocolate bars.
After I had every thing set, I silently crept out of the house from the back door that was in the kitchen. I walked out into our backyard and unchained my bicycle and soon I was speeding on the streets. I thought of saving the money and travel all the way to my aunt’s house on my own.
As I neared my Aunt Sophia’s mansion, I found out that it was way big than I thought. There was a big road leading to the main gate…a security post right beside the entrance…as I cycled my way closer I could see a beautiful garden, much more elegantly kept than my aunt Tasha’s where my father and I had lied down.
“Excuse me sir. May I help you?” I had reached the gate and the old security guard was standing at the other side of the big gate.
“Oh sorry to disturb you, but I want to know if this where Madame Sophia resides?” I asked the guard politely.
“Well yes this is her mansion and yes she does live here, but may I have the honor to know whom I’m addressing?” he said and asked very kindly as I had heard that all of aunt Sophia's subjects were taught to do so.
“Well you are talking to Maxius, I am aunt Sophia's nephew.” I answered him.
“Oh so you are Mr. Rider” He quickly opened the gate,
“Do come in, please, Madame Sophia has been expecting you”
I noticed that he had a touch of a French accent in his speech.
I thanked the guard, smiled at him and then wheeled my way to the front porch and walked my self to the front door of the huge mansion.
