How was your Day? --Nabi's Progression

Today was interesting.

This morning (Before Kyon arrived) Ichi and I got into an argument over Kyon as usual.
The argument was what to Give Kyon for his birthday... only for us to stop, realizing that nobody knew when that was at all.
The argument soon resumed with what we should get Kyon for a early/belated present.
Soon All the girls got into the conversation but we could not decide on anything. We had to ask The guys what we should give. Shichi told us that Kyon would likely enjoy anything. He also said he does not know exactly how Kyon would react since no one has given him a present at school nor has Kyon ever talked about receiving or wishing for one.
We decided on a book and any food that was homemade or just anything he could use.
Now we really want to give Kyon a present no matter what.

Noon brought a spectacle.
Roku asked where Go was only to have Kyon raise fro his seat and walk away with a "He is over there"
When we looked to where Kyon was walking we could see what was happening. Go and another person (Lets call them "Fuji 2" for simplicity) were in a discussion (and it did not look friendly) at near the top of the stairs. We decided to follow Kyon.

Kyon placed his hand on Go's shoulder and made him leave with much anger on his face.
As Kyon turned around Fuji 2 said something to him and Kyon turned around... only to have Fuji 2 shove him.
Now this is where it gets really cool
From what I could see Kyon took grip of the hand rail with his left hand and took grip of Fuji 2's wrist with his right. He pulled Fuji 2 backward with him so the only thing that was saving him from a fall down the stairs was Kyon's grip.
Kyon then pulled him back up on his feet saying "Violence solves nothing my friend"
And Kyon went back down the stairs and headed to his locker and we followed asking what that was about.
When Kyon unlocked his locker Fuji 2 Came Running saying things Like "I'll kill you" and such while rolling up his sleeves and violently shoving people out of his way. His friends where running behind him too. When Fuji 2 approached Kyon he grabbed his neck and I was at a loss to what to do. Go and Roku looked like they were going to do something but Shichi stopped him.
Kyon's Only response was "I told you violence will not solve anything" with Fuji 2's friends saying "Don't do it, that's [Kyon]. If you do anything to him nearly everyone in school will be against you"
Fuji 2 ignoring them, raised his fist only to have Kyon open his locker door smashing Fuji 2's fist and face.
Fuji 2 fell back on the floor stunned only to have Kyon offer to help him up.

Fuji 2: "Why do you want to help me up? I was about to Punch your lights out."
Kyon: "Because Violence solves nothing and plus I'm just a nice guy trying to help someone up"
Fuji 2: "Is this why everyone likes you?"
Kyon: "It doesn't matter if it is"
Fuji 2: "Heh, Heh! You really are a nice guy! I don't think I would be doing what you are now in my shoes"
And he accepted Kyon's offer to help him up. He and Kyon parted with a hand shake that was full of respect for each other... only to have a watching Fujiwara criticize Fuji 2 for not punching Kyon when they walked away.

Ni: "Shut-it. I doubt you could be half of the man he is"

After That we went back to our table and I gave Kyon the lunch I made for him.
Later on I got into a discussion with Ichi and Ni to what Kyon may look like and do if he was angry at someone. Shichi eventually responded with "You don't want to see him angry."

After noon Kyon and I went for a walk to pass the time.

I hope tomorrow will be peaceful as I think Kyon might need a rest once in a while.

There is not supposed to be much plot. It's more around focused upon her social change. More so it's about how she has generally grown to like having friends and How she opens up more and more doing and thinking things she never did before. You begin to learn a little more about her along the way as she becomes more and more open. Her interactions with the main characters and what the subject of most of her journal are key to seeing this I think.
"I just Hope everything will work out for her" and "C'mon just do it!" Is what I wish you to think when you read it and think about how is not fully open to herself about something or somethings(I know I do)
As for what that "something" or maybe the "somethings" are is up for the reader to speculate over. I hope I can also make you wonder what is going on in the others characters minds too. Be it Now or later.
As for an answer to everyones unknown and currently unheard speculations: Do you Know that for sure?
And As Always I would love to hear peoples comments and such what about the series as I cherish any feedback I can get. No matter how long ago it was written or how critical it is.

But now On to the story and away from my blabbering

It seems that my wish for a peaceful day was answered.

This morning before Kyon came we discussed more of plans to give him a present. After that I somehow convinced Ichi to give Kyon a break from her physical antics today.

Me: "Please no violent tugging, pulling, jumping on, or tackling Kyon today Ichi"
Ichi: "Why?"
Me: "It's because if he does not get a break he might just do that: Break"
Ichi: "What about normal hugs and stuff"
Me: "That's fine."
Ichi: "Good~ and what about You?"
Me: "And I vow to not to do anything violent as well"
Ichi: "Deal"

When Kyon Arrived Him and I had some tea and all went normally.

Noon was especially pleasant because Fujiwara was not present in the cafeteria at all. I gave Kyon his bento and everything went fine. We were all enjoying the circumstances so much that we lost track of time and were surprised when the bell rang. Ichi Only Hugged Kyon three times: Once when he arrived at the table this morning, The other when she arrived to the table at noon, and the Last when she left at the end of noon.
I hugged him Once in the morning and once at the end of the day because I see him most of the day anyway.
After noon me And Kyon just Sat in the Cafeteria until the Final bell because the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing.

I surely Hope that tomorrow will be as good.

Today was pretty Good.

Today I made some calls in the morning an got Kyon's private Phone Number (he he he).

This morning we got everyone who should know on page for Kyon's Improv' Birthday date and what we were to do.

Me: "And DO NOT tell Kyon unless you wish to be harmed."
San: "What if He Finds out"
Me: "He will not be able to figure this out at all. I Know he will think something is up but this is something he will never suspect what we're going to do"

I'm not worried that he will be reading this either.

At Noon I gave Kyon the usual Bento and everything went as normal.
Fujiwara did not get into an argument with Kyon today though.

Kyon: "You Hear that?"
Go: "What?"
Me: "It's the sound of peace"

This evening I called and teased Kyon over how I got his number. He was pleasantly surprised I must say though. I wonder If he gets many calls at his mother's house as Nobody really knew his number(s).
To get them (The Numbers) yesterday Me and Ni (I was over at her house) were talking about Not Knowing Kyon's Number and The Phone book having too many people to call when Ni's mother told us Kyon's father's name. This Set us on out merry way.
Kyon's father would also not tell us what we wanted to know (which was Kyon's Birthday) saying "That's something you would have to ask Kyon".
Today, I called Kyon's father again in the Morning as I thought he would be one to know Kyon's Mother's Number (Kyon's Parents are Divorced by the way). He told me it and also Kyon's private number and the rest was just me calling him this evening.

Today was enjoyable and a bit embarrassing.

This morning we finally decided what we are going to do for Kyon's improv' birthday.
On Saturday or Sunday Shichi and I (With the aid of Shichi's license) are going to "kidnap" Kyon from his mothers house saying that some of us are having a gathering at Someone's House and he is coming too.
As for what we are going to eat: Me, Ichi, and Ni plan to make something along the lines of lasagna, steamed vegetables, and salad.
I think we might make cake too (I dunno')

When Kyon approached the Table we quickly started talking about something else.

Kyon: "What are you talking about so intently?"
Ichi: "Girl stuff"
Kyon: "Such as?"
Ni: "About whether a guy giving a girl cookies is romantic or not"
Kyon: "Your verdict?"
*we all looked at each other*
Me: "I guess it depends if he made it himself"
San: "Yeah, if he made it himself it would be more romantic"
Kyon: "Oh really?"
Shi: "Thats what we think"
*Kyon placed a decorated bag on the table in front of me*
Kyon: "I guess I'm romantic, Oh, and they are handmade"

It was plastic bag that was colored pink and had stars wavy lines that simulated the night sky. It had a ribbon bow tired around the neck so it would hold the contents and had a label that clearly said it was for me from him. The cookies were all (from what I could see at the time) shaped like circles, X's, squares, and stars.

Now let me tell of the after events
Ichi was clearly jealous and Go was (teasingly) demanding for cookies as well. Only to have Kyon pull out large tin and placed it on the table. As for the Pouting Ichi: Kyon gave her a smaller tin with a ribbon bow also tied around.

Kyon: "No need to pout"
Ichi: "But Kyon-ko got one and I didn't!"
Kyon: "I thought this would happen so here"
Ichi: "How come Kyon-ko got such a pretty bag?"
Kyon: "Because I had only one"

I left my bag alone so I could save it for a snack in third period. Everyone else partook of Kyon's gift

Go: "How come these cookies taste so good?"
Kyon: "Because I made them"
Go: "Did you really make these?"
Kyon: "Yes"
Go: "Why would you bother to actually use a cookie cutter on all of these? I think they look stupid"
Ni: "I think it's cute"
Roku: "Theirs you answer Go"

Third period my Gift gained attention from the two female classmates on my sides

Classmate 1: "That looks pretty~ Who are they for?"
Me: "They're for me"
Classmate 2: "Lair. I bet it's for someone you love"
They continued to pester me who it was for when my teacher intervened

My Teacher: "What warrants so much interest?"
Classmate 1: "Nabi won't tell us who she is going to give this to. *She points at the bag*"
*Everyone in class was listening now*
My Teacher: "Oh my that is pretty. *She picks it up* Did you make these? They look Homemade."
Me: "They are Homemade but it was a gift"
Classmate 2: "Liar"
Me: "Why don't we have her read the tag aloud then?"
My Teacher: "To Nabi from [Kyon]"
All the Female classmates: "Awwwww~"
My Teacher: "They are all shaped too, Seems something he would do."
One Female classmate: "What do they Look like? What do they look like?"
Me: "Well *My teacher Hands them back to me* It's all Squares, Circles, Stars, and X's *I Open the bag and pull one of each out* See? *I proceed to eat one*"
Classmate 1: "That guy just keeps on getting more and more like a dream guy."
My Teacher: "Okay, enough about that"

Later on when I pulled a cookie that was shaped differently from all the others

Classmate 1: "Awwww~ Thats so romantic"
Classmate 2: "What what? Oh I see"
My Teacher: "What is it now you two?"
Classmate 2: "Nabi just pulled out a heart shaped one from the middle of the bag"
All the Female Classmates: "Awwww~"
Me: "I bet there is an explanation for this"
Another Female classmate: "I think we all know what that is"
The bell rang and muffled all the giggles from the others

During Noon at the Table

Go: "Hey Kyon, Gimme more cookies!"
Kyon: "I don't have anymore here you glutton"
Go: "Then you have some more at home. Bring them tomorrow!"
Kyon: "As for the heart shaped cookies that I made for my mother you are not getting any"
Go: "Stingy"

The rest proceeded as normal and I gave Kyon a bento as usual.
Ichi seemed to beaming as she eat more of the cookies at Lunch.
Fuji 2 passed us once and Ichi gave him a cookie.

Ichi: "Like it? They're homemade"
Fuji 2: "Good. Did you make it?"
Ichi: "No, Kyon did!"
Fuji 2: "Keep up the good work man!"

After Lunch Me and Kyon went outside and I decided not to ask about the heart shaped cookie.
But now I wonder if he was lying to Go or not. Or if he purposely put it in there or not.
I'm Going to wonder for a while now I guess.

Well then, today I decided to do something I promised myself I would do for awhile now, I dropped all fansub work I had to do just to read one of the stories that was posted in the forums.
I must add I randomly picked this one, so I don't have any preferences on who I read the stories from, and I will probably read all the stories that were posted here 'till now.

Anyhow, this comments is for the story named "How was your day" by Genjuu Mugon.
I must say that some years ago, I used to read a lot of stories and comment them, I would be pitiless with my comments, however, I usually did it to help new writers (as in my mother language, I can write pretty well).

Let's get down to the business.

I liked the idea of it being a blog or rather an "online diary" written by a girl to show everyone interested how her high-school social life progressed. Also, I do not understand why she was alone at the beginning of the story, since she's rather amusing to be with, in my personal opinion.

At first, I really thought that the people Nabi met in the computer room were guys, especially because of their actions, that looked more like otakus than anything else.

The act that Nabi imitate Il Palazzo from Excel Saga while entering the room was a masterpiece, however, I wonder how that would really be in real life, people would probably not say Hail Il Palazzo.

Also, I wonder why the nicknamed Nabi "Osaka", it's not like she's dense and slow... that nickname was wrong, I'm glad it changed to Kyon-ko. I actually wondered who the hell was Kyon-ko, so I searched wikipedia for awhile using Suzumiya Haruhi as a base and found out that Kyouko Tachibana is an Esper that shows up in one of Haruhi's novels.

I don't know if she shows up in the anime, if she does, I'll have to watch it one third time, I don't like forgetting stuff about anime I love... damn it!

Okay now... the introduction of Kyon-ko's "groupies" by "numbers" was rather funny, you didn't want to think too much about their names, so you numbered them and just wrote their names in Japanese.

About Kyon, I must say I'm a little disappointed at his character, no-one can be so god-hearted and his attitudes kind of tick me off. However I also understand why almost everyone likes him. Although I would love to see him having an insight like the real Kyon. I think his acting skills are awesome too.

About Fujiwara... I searched wikipedia and found some Fujiwaras in it... could you tell me what's a Fujiwara character is supposed to be, and from what anime you seen him? I need to get some reference.

About Kyon's friends, I thought they were also all girls, and I was planning to ask why was Kyon only surrounded by girls... but then, in the intermissions, I noticed they were actually guys.

Now I'll post here some things that I found really funny to read, and will comment my thoughts of them.
