Dude I totally got your point the first time I was just messing around.

All jokes aside I know that countries like Germany and China censor the hell out of games and then still give them a M or AO rating because of the "implied" violence and that really sucks because censoring alters and sometimes just plain ruins the artist's vision. Especially when you consider severing limbs was one of the marketing points for Bloodrayne in the U.S. And as for the Robot thing, WTF????

Though it is correct in Germany Nazi symbols and stuff like that are removed from as example FPS games like Call of Duty World at War. While an English version of CoD WoW has swastikas in it.

Talk about censorship. A whole level has been cut out in russian version of MW2. Had something to do with killing russian civilians as I recall.

CoD MW2 was pretty special this particular scene was censored (cut out) of course the German version is missing this scene too.

The player took part in an elimiation of civilians that were simply at an airport just waiting to check-in however this scene should not be taken out of context the player was some sort of undercover agent trying to earn the trust of the criminals gang boss in doing so (killing all the innocent people) he became just a tool and was at the end no difference compared to the ones he was fighting at the beginning... at the end he was killed by the same gangster boss because eventhoug he murdered many civilians the gangster boss still didn't trust him... so there might be a deeper meaning in this but that of course is in the eyes of the beholder.

By simply removing this scene or maybe the whole level the player looses a part of the picture as I see it.

There was a lot of protest in general so the devs (developers) decided to remove it from many versions of the game.

Pah... it's a game and not real thus they can and should do everything in it.

I've typed text in white signed as spoiler at the beginning and the end of the text it contains infos that might ruin the game (in case you've got an uncensored game version and haven't played it yet) since I couldn't find a spoiler tag mark the whole message and you can read it... otherwise leave it alone.

One cool thing is the game "Clive Barker’s Jericho" Germany is very picky about violence in games (as I explained earlier) so for this game the devs were asked to remove many scenes of explict violence... and the devs said no we will not remove them they belong to the game, hehe so the game was released without raiting and it remained uncensored, later it was re-checked with the seal "for adults only" and it remained uncensored... that was the only thing that was positive about the issue that the software remained untouched... it remains as one of the few exeptions to the rule.

Not sure though if that was the doing of the devs that simply refused to change their software, censoring it in any way (bravo for that!) or if it was just a coincidence...

Guess the only way you can get around the crap totally is to make your own country.
Some dude did that here. Some kind of flaw in land ownership or something, but it made him the owner of the land. So now no taxes or anything + he made himself King, pretty cool to see a king in a singlet, stubbies(shorts) and thongs (sandals).
