soul calibur 4 just came out and i bought it. does anyone have it? if u do can u tell me what u think about it? just want to no other people opinions

I haven't gotten it yet, but since you said you got it, what do YOU think about it? I subjectively believe that playing as Darth Vader would be sick!

I believe so, yes. I dont think they are playable right off the bat.

yes u have to unlock them. ps3 has darth vader and xbox360 has yoda. well i think its a ok game. the moves u can do is exactly the same as the last one.they added some new characters and they are pretty cool

Vader on PS3? That bunch of worms at Sony think they can undercut the power of the 360 by sticking it with Yoda? Damn it! Should have been the other way around.

I think it's a shitty deal you have to buy two diffrent consoles to unlock two diffrent characters.

I hope somebody's working on a bootleg version.

I got the game on the 30th (one day too early i was told?) but only played a few hours (no time...).
Didn't really expect it anyways, i can't even remember preordering it...

Its quite nice (a lot better than Tekken in my book).
I mean graphics are good, characters look fine, battle works quite well (though i pretty much suck at...)
I'm used to the Tekken style where you can pre-define combos to a single button for easy and fast use. Kinda miss that here. You can define buttons for combos, but it's rather complicated to use them....kinda.
Anyways, there are some nice characters (i kinda like Angol Fear

) and it's nice to hear the whole background story and sometimes an ending sequens...but apart from that, i'm disappointed story wise.

Yes, i'm a fool for wanting story from a Beat'em up, but i still don't give up hope for other games to adapt the cutscene style from Dead or Alive....
Some cutscenes, some dialogues and a proper explanation why i'm fighting this enemy here and now would make the single player a lot more fun.

Single player aside, multiplayer is a great thing and i LOVE the editor. i guess everyone does.

I don't give a crap about Yoda or Vader, though if i have to chose i'd take Vader anyways.
Yoda or Vader aside, it's yet again a shame that the Xbox got this game. Bah.
