yeah sure it's a mighty animal, but I'd still vote for the wolf...And as a pet I really don't wanna have a tiger....

Besides I love dogs, got one myself and would never exchange it for another pet...

I never really read up on the story but people taking photos and bothering the tiger (Which I believe was the reason) can have dire consequences. And I don't really see how one of them being mauled by their tiger is funny.

Same thing goes for the 3 people that were attacked in California. They were pissing off a tiger so it leapt over a 12 1/2 foot wall with a mote and killed 1 or 2 people and seriously mauled another. At least I heard they were taunting it, that part could be wrong who knows.

Calm down. The only thing that's funny about that stories is, that dumb people who want to use animals like toys, get what they deserve... It's their own fault, so they have to live/die with the consequences...

However...

It wasn't their fault that people broke the rules and agitated the tiger. If you have a guest at your house and tell them not to pull your dog's tail but they do and it attacks you, is it your fault?

I will agree with that regarding the people pissing off animals at zoos though.

As for Sig and Roy I can say that their're certainly the one to blame for the attack, cause they lived with the tiger as it were a pet..
(and we know it's not) they were living with tigers as if they were cats or sth..you know, cuddling it, petting it and so on.
It had to come like this.
As for pulling at my dog's tail....they shouldn't try...or I'll kick their butts.
So it's their fault then.

I don't necessarily agree with that. Although tigers aren't pets as most people would realize, I think since they raised it from being a cub just like you would a puppy or kitten they had a certain... right? bond? relationship? Can't really think of the correct word to use but hopefully you get my point. And although tigers aren't domesticated if you raise one from a cub like they did it becomes part of your family just like your dog or cat. Even zookeepers pet and play with the tigers there when they were born in captivity. So I still think it's unfair to say it was their fault. People startle your pets and they may react in an aggressive way, to you or the other person. Yes I realize I used that argument before >.>

Anyway, we each have our opinions so lets leave it at that.
