Anime TV in your country - FTP-Anime Forums

I'd like to know, if you have by any chance an anime broadcasting channel?

For Example, in central Europe, there is Animax since last year's august(before it was Anime+) which is unfortutnately broadcasting only from 20:00 to 1:45 am. but, they got some good selection: Death note, Bleach(with horrible dubbing), FMA, FMP&FMP:Fumoffu, Cowboy bebop, Inuyasha, Spiral and many others

Here in Portugal we got a lot of anime, but not recent ones, there is the Panda Channel that shows kids dubbed anime like Card Captor Sakura or Tokyo Mew Mew.

And then we have Sic Radical that aired things like Hellsing, Excel Saga, Evangelion, etc... japanese voiced and portuguese subbed.

The most recent show we'll have in our country will be Naruto, we don't know if it will be dubbed or subbed, but it comes as a replacement for Dragon Ball series that aired here for the last 15 years (and piss me off).

We don't have such a channel in The Netherlands. Occassionally some channel might show an anime, but it's very random and very rare.

We in the US have Cartoon Network, which does show anime but only late at night on a segment called Adult Swim (its not hentai lol...its just that they show matured themed anime) Its not very common because of that. I mean, its not 24/7 at least.

Yeah, I've heard of Adult Swim...they don't show just anime, do they? Also Robo Chicken, also that weird cartoon with the chicken and talking milkshake and french fries...

Nope its not just anime. On weekday and saturday nights its anime and on sunday nights its some of the most grotesque American shit you will find. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a good example. They show Harvey Birdman as well, The Boondocks, Futurama, Family Guy etc. Lots of good but usually weird shows.

I used to watch cartoon network as a kid...(long time ago) it was in english, not dubbed... but I somehow understand most of the speech... my favourite was(and still is) Dexter's Laboratory

And at night it changed to MGM, or something like that, I don't have CN for few years now.

I forgot to mention, that there is another channel, not specialized for anime, but they have Naruto(but from that dubbing, I thought I was going to have heart attack), shaman king and maybe other, but I don't have time to watch it all day...

Here in Puerto Rico, we get Cartoon Network as well, also Anime Network but they went "OnDemand" so now we have to pay a monthly fee to watch it. I remember seeing Excel Saga, Get Backers, Samurai X OVAs and some others.

we have a cartoon network..it shows stuff like pokemon,beyblade,dbz,cardcaptor sakura etc. between 5 to 6 pm
mainly we have animax which has a lot of great anime!it used to b only anime but now they show stuff like andromeda,supernatural,viking etc

We got Cartoon Network here too, but it only shows cartoons, and when it's time to start some anime, they change to a channel of old black and white movies named TCM...
