It's a great point... but probably you're gonna be preaching to the choir here Big Wolf(the guests you see are the leechers who don't even wanna register, let alone contribute to the community)...

Once in a great while you'll get someone like me who has similar preferences in the community(What can I say?lol

), but along with living expenses, car payments, a monthly lease on my shop, and mortgage, I've no funds to spare at the time being...

That said, whenever the opportunity presents me with extra funds, it'll be coming this way...

The only way I can provide support for the moment is by being an active member of this forum and uploading new content to bring in more leechers who will hopefully surf the site to find out this is a great place to call HOME

....

This is a great post from you Big Wolf, it needs to reach the younger members who actually still have a social life, unlike myself

I can't really donate because of the exchange rate between USD and RM (my country's currency). Besides I'm a student, so no income for me.....

But, if I can find some way to earn money through online sites, like survey or etc... then I'll contribute to this site...

Any one have any idea where I can find such money earning site?

i know students have it bad, but working people CAN give - and don't! i think it's a sad testament of today's society, take, take, TAKE!

i get SOO much in friendship, reviewing animes here, learning about new software, and new cultures! i have friends from around the world here!
i'm DISABLED and live on next to nothing ... but i donate BECAUSE i get so much from here. i just drink a little less coffee.

others donate their time as mods or seeders or seting up servers. but for those who enjoy the fruits of every else's labor here - PLEASE!!!!

$5 every third month is $20/year!! that's the cost of going to the theater ONE TIME!!!!

if everyone [that REALLY could] would just give a little - it would help ALOT!!!

yea i know some site that give out money for each survey that you take. .but its a bit time consuming and need to click a lot of advertisement now the good part each survey that you fill up will give you like 3-5 dollar each survey that you fill and the worst part is you need to collect like 60 or 100 dollar to withdraw the money

I wish I could donate, and if I could, it'd be more than five bucks a month. But I can't for three reasons:

1. I don't have paypal. (Though it's pretty easy to get, I guess, so that is less of a reason and more of an excuse.)

2. Like Yumen, I am a student, so money is tight right now, and I don't have a job.

3. Even if I did have more of an income, there are many things that I am doing without right now that would unfortunately come before donating to ftp.

I really do love you guys, enjoy the site, and am grateful for the downloads and such. But I'm already doing without coffee, soda, eating out, etc. And I've had cut way down on feeding my book habit the last few years as well. So no luck there. If I still have a relationship with the site once money is less of a problem, I'll be sure to make up for all the time I spent here without donating. I imagine a lot of people are in the same boat, considering the fanbase demographics of anime/manga.

Wolfie, I think it's great you put so much effort into supporting this site.

Well I don't mind if people can't donate but contribute in any way like posting, moderating, designing or something else.

posting all I can do to help bro: I suck at designing(I personally think the site design is pretty cool - avy pics could be bigger though

) and I don't feel like getting heckled by DD for applying for a mod position

- At least you don't have to worry about keeping my thread clean of dead links for the most part

This is a very nice site and one I intend to stick with. Very good rules, relaxed atmosphere and everything I could possibly never find online under one roof!
Just posting for me at the mo, however, let's see how my bank balance starts to look after payday and the obligatory slaughter of finances has been and gone.
