Hey all,

Sorry I haven't been around. I'm an adult student at a business school, and it's been hectic. Close to graduating with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal,and I just finished a tough term... Legal Office Simulation, and Professional Development...something I kindof needed as I have not had to actually create a resume or apply for a job in over 13 years! Not to mention, I was not taught all that stuff in high school like many are these days!

I start my last "official" term Wednesday, with Advanced MS Word and Intro to Excell...and a Certification test at the end of Word. During this time, I need to arrange things with Financial Aid, Student Aid, and Registration, as I need to fill out exiting papers and crap, and then turn around and fill out new registration, as I am coming back for another Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems with a Minor in Applications, to get my other certifications and such.


Not to mention, I do have 2 teenage kids, the oldest of which is graduating High School this year (HOPEFULLY!!!!!)....

needless to say, life is hectic, and even though I stop in and look around, I may not always have time to post yet.

So, why tell you all this?

Well, I have made at least one new friend here, for one, and am touching base... for another, I got this little email saying you guys miss me!!!!

Figured I better stop in and letya all know that I am alive, still like this place, and will be active as I am able.... I've just been pretty busy, and Real Life has to come first..... unless of course Jessica Alba is a member here, and is offering to take my wife's place after she kicks me out for spending too much time online.....

Hey! It could happen,lol! (yeah, in my dreams...but dreams are such a nice place ta be,eh? )

We just cant tell you which pseudonym she uses for privacy purposes. We use that as leverage to keep people glued to us, as its a neverending goose chase. *evil laugh*.


No, seriously, you caught a tough break there. Lets hope your situation works out the way you want it. Keep in touch when you can. We wont use the cement shoes unless we really have to.

Updating:

Wow! Found out by taking 2 classes instead of my internship, I have earned a Diploma for Personal computer Specialist ontop of my Paralegal! Passed my MS Word certification, got a 967 out of 1000 possible points on the Microsoft standardized Certification test... so that's 2 I now have, Word and PowerPoint. Got my paperwork filled out for my return, and next term I will start working towards my Associate's degree in Micorcomputer Applications.

I wish I had time to enjoy myself here, but it's still kindof hectic. I have papers to fill out for finishing my first degree,plus papers to fill out for that Diploma I inadvertantly earned and am claiming...plus I am taking MS Access and HTML/CSS this term. Of course, HTML is more "fun", allowing me to be creative, whereas Access,while good to know, is just database stuff. Boring, straight to the point, and a PITA if you mistype something! The only time it ever "asks" you if you want to save is if you widen a column or row, or otherwise change the "structure" of the database...NOT after inputting or editing DATA...so if you type something wrong and shut down the program, it automatically saves it. Fine, if you KNOW what you did wrong, you can reopen and fix it. NOT so fine if you have to search for it, and the Database is on the larger size

Anyhow..that's my life so far, as it were! I also have been asked back to a senior staff position on another website, an offshoot of my old one, but more of a friendly meetingplace/hangout. Just when I was enjoying "retirement",lol!

Oh well, hang tight all, I'll be in off and on. heck, if I don't pop in on my own, I always get these lovely emails from here telling me how much I am missed. Kinda makes me feel all warm and squishy inside... like a bug that's been squashed!
