| Sounds good to me ![]() We need more names though ![]() Was the Lost Continent a good name for the Continent? If it is: - Continent: The Lost Continent - Main Area: New Haven or Heavens gate - Cities: ... - Rival Territory: ... - Lakes/Oceans: ... - Mountains: ... - ...

| I've been painting it out and came up with some nice ideas. However the more I progressed the more my paint started to look like a childs drawing. I'll work some more on it tomorrow ![]() But I'm sure there are better designers here So people don't hesitate to show us your creativity!

| Sign me up for the cynical madman (he'd prabably sound something like Albedo) And as for the enemy territory I was thinking it should be a series of small islands connected by giant chains I'm also playing with the idea them being floating islands high in the sky 1. because they do have magic after all 2. It gives them a nice tactical advantage against the bigger province.

| True ![]() Nice idea! Reminds me of a series of books I used to read ![]() Here's a picture. http://boergedoessing.net/boerge.doe...anctaphrax.jpg The floating island is sanctaprax, in those books it's where all the academics / scientists live. This is the image from the book http://www.randomhouse.co.uk/childre...dgemap720i.gif Here is some background information: Sanctaphrax At the centre of Undertown is a great iron ring, to which a long and heavy chain - now taut, now slack - extends into the sky. Upon it, the magnificent city of Sanctaphrax has been constructed. Stone Gardens Sanctaphrax is a great floating rock. Like all the other buoyant rocks on The Edge, it started out in the Stone Gardens. The chain was attached when the rock became large and light enough to float up into the sky. All buoyant rocks of The Edge grow in the Stone Gardens. If left, the rocks would eventually break free and sail upwards into the open sky. However, the White Ravens tend the Stone Gardens - they monitor the growth of the rocks and signal to the academics of Sanctaphrax when each rock harvest should begin.

| I'd probably call it The Land of Flying Chains but I'm brainstorming for something more clever

| Super Moderator Lord Knight Templar of FTP-Anime | The floating links I like the idea of a floating continent, and levitating stones. If we could get some of a fair size and shape, for you see when we heat these stones they begin to fall down instead of float. We could make an airship! They are kinda slow though... Its kinda like the levistoneship in Escaflowne but the rocks sink instead of raising like they do in the anime.

| Templar's Grand Master Lord of FTP-Anime | so what your saying is that in order for the land masses to float, it needs to constantly snowing? i think that might be a good idea. this way the people on the floating isles would be a lot stronger because of the harsh conditions.

| You really give them a lot off advantadges even though they already have magic ![]() It's going to be tough to beat them ![]() The problem is... How to get on those islands... Cause in those books there's a basket-elevator steared by someone... And there is only 1... Unless ofcourse we had some mythical creatures from the mainland forests on our side (You know, a gryphon or something else that can fly)
