Late Intro - FTP-Anime Forums

Hello! My name is Nate Call, I am 21 years old, born on May 16, 1987. I currently live in NY, USA. This is my second stay in NY and is one of the 10 states I've claimed residency at (My father was USAF and was lucky enough to stay state side in his redeployments).

I am currently an IT Specialist at a casino in NY, nothing special since NY laws don’t allow any exciting gambling, just video gaming machines. I do not believe in gambling (at least to the extent here at work), but it is an honest job and a great opportunity for me to get experience in a field before I graduate. Speaking of which, I am a college student studying Computer networking and security.

I got into anime slowly through a long drawn out process, and they were cable anime at that. I only then discovered the "real" anime with the introduction of broadband internet in my life and a high school friend who happened to have an almost uncomfortable love for Sailor Moon. Luckly, it was not Sailor Moon she used to introduce me.
I could not honestly list any favorite anime, with the excuse not that I love them all equally but that I do not feel my anime experience is strong enough to claim a favorite.

I ran into this site while looking for anime and sites I could download from. Specifically I was looking for Sekirei dvd rips. I had read somewhere that people would share anime via FTP so I googled just that which, as you can imagin, hit this site first!

I run the website nateway.net, which happens to have a small un-customized or populated forum, and in my few hours of being a member on this forum, I've learned quite a bit about forum etiquette. Unfortunately, up till now, my experience with forums had been small and unhappy. Up until now, I had decided against posting on forums because of, for lack of better words, "forum bullies" that criticize each and every word you say. I put a forum on my website just because I could, being a geek you want to try every function you can:-)

This site seems friendly enough and I hope to add to it as much as I can while watching a lot of new anime!:-D
