 |  Hello from me :) Sup people?? I'm Guillermo from Mexico, I like anime a lot, I'm kind of newbie on this, specially in the terminology and such, nonetheless, I'm getting to know more about all this stuff. Regarding myself, my favorite hobbies are swimming, watch soccer, watch anime of course, as well as now and then play some MMORPGs, and reading (awkward combination huh?) The very first anime that I watched was Astro Boy, and that was when I had 5 or 6 years old, therefore I don't remember it quite well. After that I watched Saint Seiya and I still do, so you can ask me pretty much everything about it. Then I continued watching Dragon Ball, Ranma 1/2, and some other anime that was being broadcasted over the free signal in Mexico. When I really began to understand what anime was about, was with Neo Genesis Evangelion, in that time there was a TV channel called Locomotion, an anime dedicated station, they played Evangelion, Saber Marionette J, Red Baron, Aramis III, and South Park (I know it's not anime tho), and some others. Around year 2002 Direct TV went into bankruptcy here in Mexico so it was impossible to get Locomotion anymore, since Sky (the other sat company) didn't had any anime channel. Then it comes year 2006, a cousin told me to watch Naruto so I did. Then it come Bleach, and the rest is history. As of right now I've watched: Air gear, Aramis III, Black blood brothers, Black lagoon, Black lagoon 2nd barrage, Code geass, Code geass R2, Cowboy bebop, Darker than black, Death note, Dragon ball, Dragon ball z, Evangelion, Fate/stay night, Full metal panic!, Macross, Naruto, Ragnarok the animation, Rosario + vampire, Saint seiya, Samurai champloo And I'm currently watching: Bleach, Chaos Head, Naruto shippuden, Rosario + Vampire Capu2, Tales of the abyss, Toaru majutsu no index, The time of eve I'm up to date in those. So how come I'm here, and why?? Truth is, I'm about to go into holidays, and I'm returning to my parent's house. Here in Mexico is really hard to have any connection above 1.5Mbit, so let's say I want to download all of Gurren Lagann, with the poor seeding of the torrents, and my connection it would take me around 2 months (seriously) to get the anime, however, if I download via FTP from my college I can get download speeds of about 3,000kB/s. I'm not sure how this forum works, and which are the rules to not being considered as a leecher, so I believe I will wait all the weekend to get to know this forum, and on Monday I'll start to get something to watch over the holidays.  | Hey, welcome! Xyw, I think it was a pretty good intro. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we no longer have FTP downloads only when the site was first launched. We do have a lot of anime links in the anime downloads section. Hope you stick around anyway. See ya
