intro-greetings - FTP-Anime Forums

hello,

lets see... the basics:
work as an Applications Engineer of the human male variety. just moved to Portland OR from Brooklyn. found the site just hopping around, my friends aren't in to anime at all so i get to torture everybody when its my shot at movie night. specific anime? guess Texhnolyze is the first that pops to mind (probably misspelled it, can't ever remember where the 'h' goes), ErgoProxy, Gankutsuo, DarkerThanBlack, ParanoiaAgent, BlackLagoon, SAC, Hellsing etc....same-same. hobbies, well i'm into competitive epee but could really use more training, can't seem to get out of B. i read alot. traveled extensively for couple years and settled down just a bit ago. music taste is obscure, mostly friends stuff (well..also a big Amebix fan). not really a gamer. hate cars (i miss nyc subways.. i have to ride a bike to work). like cheese, cats, dark gray colors, orchids and victorian machinery.

'Application Enginer' is the awkward title they stuck me with, one of those fancy yet ultimately nondescriptive terms like 'Sanitation Engineer'. Im a programmer, mostly .NET development and administrative/troubleshooting work, yes not the most entertaining of jobs but i do get to design some software, even if its used for extremely dry tasks. i try to make up for it in my spare take, graphics work for friends and such.
