If you had one day in Japan - FTP-Anime Forums

If you had one day in Japan, where would you go and what would you do?
Visit temples? Or maybe hang out in a Japanese anime/manga store all day long? Maybe you're attracted more by its nature or beautiful women?
Tell us about it!

Try to be realistic though. Don't say something like: "I'll visit everything in Japan." or "I'll go to place X and then teleport to place Y.".

You know I've always been fascinated by Geisha. It might seem typical I know but I find them so mysterious and doll-like. I'm not quite sure where you can see them exactly, Gion in Kyoto I think. But that's where I would go just for the small hope of catching a glimpse of one going to/performing in an event.

I'd find it pretty interesting to meet with a geisha as well.
However, since I only have one day, I guess I'll be hanging out in the Akihabara district in Tokyo (an otaku centered district) all day. Going from store to store, spending all my money...

Whew, only one day?
Well, before that day, I'd sleep enough to stay awake for 24 hours. And I'd take as much money with me as possible. xD Of course my Digital Camera must have full batteries!

I think I would enjoy that day in Shibuya. I'd love to see Hachiko and take some photos. Then, I'd enjoy some shops and buy a lot of things which are only for the japanese market.

If I had one day I would probably visit Kadena Air Base on Okinawa Island. I want to see how differently the military handles stuff in Japan. (and because im an enthusiast of military hardware...get to see the planes and stuff
