Yeah, perhaps. I think the Konohamaru that suddenly jumped to talk to Pain/Pein is a kage bunshin and is meant to be a distraction.

because other that kage bunshins and harem jutsu
the old naruto had nothing else special...xcept the Rasengan which most likely konahamaru cant do.. so its only shadow techniques and suprise attacks that he could have learned from young naruto

Yeah, and we already know that he can do the sexy no jutsu. And the rasengan would take way too long for him to learn...besides...he needs to learn how to make kage bunshins first before he can use rasengan.

remember my ranting and raving that there will be another 6-7 chapters for anything to happen? well, by making the konohomaru that appeared a kage bunshin... well.. thats another chapter until we actually figure it out..or until it actually shows it

and its this time of the week again... me in rage mode..
good thing is, the story DID progress... even slightly..Kakashi is officially dead...well from the way tsunade reacts... im already looking for my ticket to japan to do some damage... rawr.. KAKASHI!!!

/me cries.... one of the coolest characters in the entire manga had THE LAMEST ENDING EVER... RAWR RAWR RAWR. konohamaru is still in emo mode for remembering his promise making the manga all tender and squishi.. as if that would made me cry. hmph. apparently it is a small shinobi world as well, as tsunade knows pain.. AND I AM DYING TO SEE HER KICK THE LIFE OUT OF HIM. TSUNADE FTW!!!!

if she dies saving the village too, im torching everything in sight...
naruto is still in training mode... jeez.. i mean, the manga's name is naruto.. y dont they just name it, 'the burning of konoha'..good thing is that for a change we see some people with skills.. gai sensei and co. GO LEE!!!! GO NEJI.. !! (cant say the same for tenten.. i find her far too lame).. im gonna have a fit when gai realises that kakashi is dead... *sniff* ..after all this damage and trouble pain has caused, his secret of 'how' he works isnt so amazing. ... and ofcourse, the weekly cliffhanger.. gawd.. RAWR.. ill go burn something for now..

Once again, take a breath, count from 100 to zero...

Anyway, actually I got the idea that he isn't dead yet from this chapter. The fact that Tsunade didn't say anything, but told him to hurry, suggests that he's not dead yet, but could die any second now and she sees little hope for him.

Yes, the story did progress which was good. Unfortunately at the same time, not much happened on any side.

We did see some people with skills and the different clans though.
Finally we get to see Gai and Lee kick some ass (don't like Neji, he's too arrogant).

I think it's obvious that Pain knows Tsunade, since he was one of Jiraiya's students afterall, but it somehow seems he's got a grudge against them...Though I wouldn't know why.
I wonder if he was the actual reason that Orochimaru left Akatsuki, fearing for his life.

now.. tsunade's reaction (punching the ground) and apologizing to chouji is reason enough to *insinuate* the death of kakashi..
we are gonna be at it, until they say it. KAKASHI IS DEAD.. until then, ill mourn, and u dear Vlad will be the only ray of sunshine for being such an optimist..
as for neji being arrogant..well its true.. but he kinda changed when naruto kicked his ass

but i do understand where he is coming from.. i mean he is in the same team with lee and gai.. i would die laughing..

but i like him cause he is strong.. and im hoping to see ALOT from him...
as for pain knowing tsunade, u do have a point...
as for orochimaru leaving i *think* that he joined akatsuki in order to obtain itachi. of course he failed horribly... and being the bitter bastard he waas, he left.
