Buying or downloading?

So, do you guys (and girls) buy your anime, or do you download it? It would be nice if you also tell us why you download/buy it.

I absolutely download nothing, I only buy it. The problem with that is that now I don't have any money left anymore, so I can't buy as much as when I download it. But I buy it so I can take it with me, and it looks way cooler than when you download it. I suppose those are my reasons for buying and not downloading. Ow, I almost forgot: now I can lend other people my manga too, instead of making them download files. I'll be looking forward to your reactions.

well i buy the manga if i have the chance but since i rarely go to the booksotre(too far away) so i mostly download it since there are no other ways to read manga. also my friends really dont know about mangas and animes they are more into sports

Well, I live in Sweden... and here its rar to see an anime i the store.
So I prefer to download it and if I like it "as I almost do :S" I buy it from the web. Like http://www.lik-sang.com/

That's very funny, since I went to Sweden on hollidays, and I found myself like 3 major anime stores . And Rjd, you could also hire me in order to get the manga's you need ;).

Well depends on how much the price is really. The most shops in my area (Antwerp - Belgium) are quite expensive so... But when there is an anime in discount that I really like I'll buy it. But I don't but them for looks but rather for sponsoring the creators...

I buy my manga at the comic book store here. I even have a box set up with the titles that I've been getting I like having the books instead of reading it online. I have FMA on my computer but I haven't bothered to read it yet because my eyes get strained when I look at the screen too long

But I'm also a collector so having the books is nice!

i prefer download it when the series is faster via download, but for some manga that i'll add to my collection i prefer buy it of course.

Some thimes its really hard to thoose if u gonna download or buy. me prefer download because if have to traffel 20 KM to get some.
