What kind of music....

So now the time has come. I want to know what kind of music do you like to listen? Any favs above other? Name the style and a band.

And if any one of you has the skill and the will to make a poll for the styles I'd be really happy because I don't have skill to do it by myself.

So I belive that you'll be pissed if I won't start this, but don't worry, I'm going to do it and do it right away.

My fav music style is Metal. Only sub category that I don't like so much is death and trashmetal but there is a few exceptions. Favorite bands Gamma Ray, Helloween, Nightwish, Epica, Sonata Arctica, Tarot, COB (Children of Bodom) At Vance, Turisas.... List will go on and on for a really long time so maybe it's easier for you to ask than wait for me to be ready. I'm also interrested I japanese music but know only some bands and usually from their anime themes. Hazel Fernandes Number One is good and other is Ichirin No Hana really nice song. If anyone of you could lead me deeper into the world of Jmusic I'd apperciate it really much.

I listen to everything from King Crimson to The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion to Teranoid & MC Natsack haha.

Since musical taste is entierly subjective I don't really see a need for a poll (especially in a community like this where everyone would just vote happy hardcore jpop or whatever)

Right now I'm into really exparimental stuff-Slake, Mitsuto Suzuki, Radiohead, Hybrid, etc. I don't mind a little Mastodon or Rhapsody now and then i guess for japanese music, i dont really care for mainstream stuff like Ayumi...most of the artists who have contributed to the .hack// stuff have been quite good, expecially See-Saw and Ali Project. I'm also a huge fan of Asaki, an little known Progressive-Electric-Visual-Kei group , its really quite cool.

Hmm, wow this is great. I wrote up a lot of info to post here, submitted it, but then the internet took a dump and never posted the information. It timed out on me. After that i kinda got mad and just forgot to even repost. . Anyways, a poll cannot be made once the thread has been made. Sorry. However we can keep talking here. Some of my preferred bands are:

Nickelback

There are others but thats the A-list.

Favorite group: Tatu
Favorite composers: Mozart, Beethoven, John Williams
Favorite singer: Ask me again at some other time...

haha Subzero just reminded me that Linkin Park exists. I just went and downloaded the Live In Texas album, Linkin Park really isn't that bad, especially live. I guess people hear "nu-metal" and expect to hear "nu-metal", which Linkin Park is not. I'd call it progressive turntablismbreakswithrapandguitars. I think I'm in a talkative mood today.

I think yes Btw, my friend found out, that any of hop hop(read hiphop) clip can be added to any hop hop music, and it fits on 90%
