Banner Submission Thread - FTP-Anime Forums

Sick and tired of seeing the same ol' banners here? Well, look no further! We will have a contest every 2 weeks and we're looking for some new banners made by you! Wanna know how this contest is gonna go down? Read below:

Week 1
------
How many banners you may submit: 1
Height x Width requirement: no more than 900 x 200 px
What it must have somewhere in your banner: FTP-Anime
Restrictions (something new added to this new submission): must have some sort of background (meaning, no one-color or gradient background)
Deadline: this Saturday

Week 2
------
Once deadline is past, a voting poll will be established, and people can vote on one of the banners submitted by the people who participated in this contest. The deadline for that will also be this Saturday. The banner with the most votes wins and will be added to the site.

In case of a tie, we'll go to sudden death, where it will be a one day thing. The first to 10 votes wins.

Considering how active the forum is, I believe that you are lucky to get what you have gotten. Dont have big expectations for a massive turnout. It probably wont happen. I would have made some myself but seeing as I have no internet access at home it would be pointless since I couldnt post them.

maybe its a good idea to expand the times to 1 submission thread every month. Since it's going too fast in my oppinion

Gradient backgrounds are prefabricated solid backgrounds that are usually one to three colours that range from the darkest hue of, say green, to the lightest.
They can be found in Powerpoint on mircosoft. As for one colour backgrounds I saw that lazy guy quirk used that, what a nerve! Any way I'll post a background next time if I remember. This one will be better!;)

Well it is true that it would be better if there's a larger time span.
Howerer, that would possibly mean that only the professional designers win...
I don't care about winning personally, I just try out something new.
There's a huge difference in quality between paint users and photoshop ao users.
But let's not make things too complicated...
If I'm not mistaken my entry was already accepted.
It's not much, and it's only a first try, so comments are welcome.

I've changed the size and colour of the original picture.
I hope it's better now!

I just read the new restriction...
I kinda dunno if you can have a background with paint...
I you can't accept it I'll try another one later...
Just don't feel like changing this one again...
It took me hours to get the coulors the way I wanted...
