I bet a lot of people are going to hate me for this but it will be a counter measure agains all download bots

I made a new download system. And yes this time it also bans

good for my server too bad of you. This is made because some idiot raped my server again with making 2000 connections a second.

Ok this is was the system does:
Your only allows to make 1 connection to every file. you can download multiple files at the same time. Now if you try to make a second connection at a file it will be refused and you will get 1 warning point. When you are at 10 warning points your IP gets banned for a hour.

You will have to live with this. I hope you won't get banned and be able to download with a lot of nice anime

Mhmmm...why not banning the IPs for 5 hours instead of 1 and already after 5 warning points?

No I don't want to be to harsh on these guys. When they get banned for the first time they will start making 1 connection immedeately

Good Good, but what of those who keep on getting repeatedly banned or have too many warning points?

nothing they will just get banned over and over again.

yep you just got banned. Wait a hour before downloading again and make 1 connection this time.

well I have never used more than 1 connection per file ever!! and i only make one connection per server no matter what the rules are but what happened today that my bro was messing with my download manager and has restarted my whole completed list at the same time!!
anyway thanks for help and everything is ok now.

this is just a countermeasure agains people that make a lot of connections and so steal all bandwith away from normal leechers who only use 1 connection.
