Characters:

Nyu/Lucy - Lucy is considered to be the 'Queen' of all diclonius. She has 2 very different parts of her mind - 1 who is Nyu, an innocent girl who doesn't seem to know any words besides saying 'Nyu' all the time but picks up a few words as the anime goes on. She has an evil side, Lucy, who is takes over her mind whenever a dangerous incident is about to happen.

Kouta - A boy who is about to attend college and inherits an inn. He 'adopts' the girls in the anime and allows them to live in the inn.

Yuka - Kouta's cousin who apparently is in love with him and decides to stay in the inn with him.

Mayu - A girl who has been continuously raped by her stepfather and ran away from home. She gets adopted by Kouta and Yuka. She has a dog that follows her and he is called Wanta.

Professor Yu Kakuzawa - The professor in charge of the Diclonius experiment. He apparently lost his wife and daughter when his daughter was born as a diclonius.

Nana - Kakuzawa's 'daughter', a diclonius, she thinks of the professor as her father and does whatever he tells her to.

My opinion:

The first couple minutes of the first episode doesn't seem very promising as it is just a diclonius who tries to escape and rips the head and limbs of the security guards that try to stop her, but it gets very exciting towards the end of the episode and it continues to pull you in until the very last minute of the series. I watched this whole series today non-stop, i didn't even know the time going by since it was so exciting. It's full of drama and mysteries that holds your attention. Throughout all the killing and sadness, its still able to give lots of humor, especially through Nyu, with her clumbsy behaviors.

I won't say much so that i won't ruin it for anyone that's gonna watch but this is one anime you can't afford to miss!

You like Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke? Well, eat your hearts out because this is much better than those! And those are my favorite animes!

Because the whole thing overall is awsome!
It could have had some better music and other things but the way it captures your attention is incredible
